    Description

Lone Highest Graded 1950C Minneapolis Replacement Note

Fr. 2110-I* $50 1950C Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.
This was one of many Small Size star rarities to be offered in our 2005 Taylor Family Collection Auction. It realized more than $1,700. Since then, only four of the notes submitted to PMG and PCGS for this Friedberg number have been assigned Uncirculated grades. This piece is the lone finest graded between the two services. With offerings few and far apart, expect a realization here this evening to top that of its appearance in 2005.
