Sole Publicly Offered 1928A $20 New York District Star Note

Fr. 2051-B* $20 1928A Federal Reserve Star Note. PMG Very Fine 30.
An excessively rare $20 FRN star that, according to Track and Price, is the only replacement note for this series and district to ever have been publicly offered. The Schwartz and Lindquist reference does list a starting serial number for this district but any such note with that number has yet to make a public appearance. This offering is almost 40,000 higher than than the number published in the reference. It presents a great opportunity for the small size specialist to finally add this rare star to their holdings.
