Solid Serial Number Nine 1934C $10 Federal Reserve Note

Fr. 2008-L $10 1934C Federal Reserve Note. Solid 9 Serial Number. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
A strictly Gem L-B block note with solid serial number 99999999. We have never before offered a $10 with the solid 99999999 serial. Any solid serial with all nines is a treasure, especially so when the solid nines adorn an early FRN. The example in this lot is a beautiful piece which clearly deserves its high grade, as the note's paper quality and originality is evident right through the PCGS holder. Since the current BEP practice is not to print notes with serials higher than 96000000, the number of notes bearing solid nines can go no higher than those already released, making these even scarcer in the future.
