    Gem 1928 Minneapolis $5 FRN with Low Serial Number 66

    A broadly margined and well preserved example of this early Minneapolis issue that is the key to this series, and is not easy to find in grades above About Uncirculated. This pretty note, which made its last public appearance in our May 2002 auction, carries the added feature of low two-digit serial number 66 making it the second lowest number recorded for this series and district.
