    Description

Unique $20 FRN Transitional Changeover Pair

Changeover Pair Fr. 991a/991b $20 1914 Federal Reserve Notes PCGS Banknote About Unc 53 PPQ; About Unc 53.
This unique changeover pair was last on the market in our 2005 Long Beach auction as part of the New England Changeover Collection. Making its first ever public appearance back then, we said that this transitional changeover pair of "a" and "b" varieties was originally rescued by pioneer paper money dealer/researcher William A. Philpott. Each note has sustained only the slightest of handling. This pair would be a wonderful addition to a comprehensive collection of United States large size notes. (Total: 2 notes)
