    Description

    Fr. 813 $10 Chicago FRBN-High-Grade Rarity

Fr. 813 $10 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG About Uncirculated 55.
This is a fairly scarce 1915 $10 Chicago FRBN, especially so in this grade, which is high on the condition census. It has the Teehee-Burke with McLallen-McDougal signature combination. Track & Price reports few strictly Uncirculated notes, and the infrequent auction records for this type are strong. The note appears only to have a vertical bend, not a crease, and is well margined and attractive. Like the previous example, Mike bought this in 1988 making it also very fresh to the currency collecting community. An underrated type and particularly so in this choice condition.
    From The Mike Coltrane Collection.
