Conditionally Rare Fr. 786 $5 Cleveland FRBN

Fr. 786 $5 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Extremely Fine 40.
Another great scarcity and nearly impossible to find in high grades. This $5 Cleveland FRBN has the Teehee-Burke and Davis-Fancher signature combinations. The Track & Price census has 32 records of this difficult note. Only one is reported "Uncirculated," and that is uncertified. A crisp note with perfect centering on both sides. Auction appearances in this upper-grade level are sparse. Our last example in similar condition (PCGS Extremely Fine 40) realized $1,762.50 in our 2013 FUN sale. This exemplifies a sleeper Federal note condition rarity.
