Fr. 769 $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Very Fine 30.
A very scarce $2 St. Louis FRBN issue with the Teehee-Burke and Atterbury-Biggs signature combination. Only 660,000 were printed, and Chambliss estimated only 25 survivors in his 2014 book. Track & Price now records 38 notes, and none of those are Uncirculated. Though PMG notes "Stains," this discoloration does not significantly move this note from its place near the top of the condition census. Overall, this faces up well. Mike acquired it two decades ago.
    From The Mike Coltrane Collection.
