    Description

    Fr. 1619 $1 1957 Silver Certificate. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ;
    Fr. 1619 $1 1957 Silver Certificate. Uncirculated.
    The PCGS graded note has the third printing shifted upwards and is slightly miscut with a misaligned face printing. The other note also has a third printing shifted upwards and is slightly miscut. However, the back of the second note has a dramatic solvent smear. Both notes are from the C3 plate position and are separated by only 28 serial numbers. Both pieces have a BEP inspector's red crayon rejection mark in the lower left corner. Also, the raw error note has three additional red ink arrows pointing to areas of the third printing that are shifted upwards. The many "ripples" found on the raw note are due to the solvent smear. (Total: 2 notes)
