DescriptionPrinted Foldover Error with Overprint Fr. 1909-L $1 1977 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Banknote Choice AU 58 PPQ.
An impressive foldover error with almost all of the overprint being printed on the back. Consensus among our staff is that this is certainly one of the better examples of this error type to enter our premises. The basis of this error note occurred after the back and face printings, but before the third printing of the overprint on the face, when a large fold was acquired from the upper left corner to the lower right corner. It must be remembered that folds involved in the making of an error are not counted against an error note for grading purposes.
