    Description

    Fr. 1609 $1 1935A "R" Silver Certificate. PCGS Very Good 8.
This "R" note has an obstructed face printing in the upper left corner as this area is blank. It is highly unusual to say the least to have an error on a World War Two experimental note. This note is from the A plate position in the upper left corner of a twelve-subject sheet. This positioning helps explain the occurrence of this obstruction error in this area of the note.
