A consecutive run of high-grade 55/54 mismatched serial numbers are in this lot. Fourteen examples grade Gem New 66PPQ, five grade Gem New 65PPQ, and one error comes in at Very Choice New 64. All of the notes exhibit embossing and four wide margins and that includes the one piece grading 64. This error made its first appearance in circulation in the summer of 1963 at Fort Benning, Georgia. This is the largest run of the 55/54 mismatch that we have ever offered. (Total: 20 notes)
