    Description

Fr. 1913-L $1 1985 Federal Reserve Note. Fine.
Fr. 1922-L $1 1995 Federal Reserve Note. Two Examples. Choice CU and Fine.

The BEP made an engraving error on back plate number 129 of the 1985 note, placing the back plate number near the pyramid side of the Great Seal instead of the eagle side. The two 1995 $1s included in this lot are Fort Worth BEP-printed "Back Plate 295" errors. "295" was engraved by the pantograph operator at the wrong dimensions. Each of the two BEP locations uses different size type for the back plate numbers and these were the Washington, DC size.
    (Total: 3 notes)
