Changeover Correct/Incorrect Back Plate Number Size Pair Fr. 1922-D $1 1995 Federal Reserve Note. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
Two consecutive notes with the first carrying macro back plate number 275 and the second carrying micro back plate number 295. The second note is an error as this Fort Worth printed note had its back plate number of 295 incorrectly engraved by the pantograph operator at the smaller Washington, DC size. Fort Worth back plate numbers are supposed to be 1 mm high. On these errors, the pantograph operator entered the settings for the Washington back plate number size instead, which is 0.6 mm. (Total: 2 notes)
