Fr. 2305 $20 1934A Hawaii Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Fine 15PPQ.This piece was a highlighted error in our January 2006 FUN Signature Auction where it was described, "Any error, even minor examples, is a tough item to obtain in this series, but major Hawaii note errors are seldom found save in the most advanced of error collections. This specimen, with the "Hawaii" overprint inverted on the reverse, is about as major an error as anyone can hope to own. While a touch lower grade than the example in the Taylor Family collection (which realized $6900), this piece, unlike that one, is fully natural and entirely unmolested."
