    Description

Possibly Unique 2001 $50 Atlanta Test Note

Fr. 2127-F $50 2001 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
A test note that is quite similar in make-up to the "California Blackout" replacement note we sold back in September of 2006. The open spaces are quite interesting as are the two solid bars which are a bit different in ink color. This test was employed to insure that the back plate was completely inked prior to the start of the run. Possibly one-of-a-kind as we have not seen or heard of a $50 example until now.
