    Wild Cutting Error

Fr. 1988-K $5 2001 Federal Reserve Note. Very Fine-Extremely Fine.
This is the one of the wildest cutting errors you will ever see. In fact, this is the new Friedberg plate note for this class of errors in the recently released 18th edition. This spectacular example contains most of the primary note, plus about 40% of the top adjacent note, a shifted upwards third printing, and extra selvage at top. The primary note has a tiny tear that was a result of the production of this error. A lot of the folds of this note are also associated with producing the error, therefore they are ignored in the determination of the grade. This Dallas error is a great item that will be the center piece of the collection it enters.
