Inverted Star Error Fr. 1617* $1 1935G With Motto Silver Certificate Star. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.The left star is inverted on this well preserved error note. An operator error caused the star to be placed in the serial numbering wheel upside down. The star is rotated 180 degrees and the crown point is oriented directly down. For comparison purposes, a look at the right serial number tells us that the left star is definitely inverted. Serial number characters are now made in such a fashion so that they can only be installed correctly into a numbering wheel.
