    Description

Superb Gem New $100 Inverted Third Printing on Reverse

Fr. 2175-L $100 1996 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. This Type 2 inverted overprint on back error is not only as dramatic as any we've ever seen, it's also on a $100 note graded Superb Gem New 67PPQ by PCGS. If a nicer or more spectacular error of this type exists, we've yet to see it. Not only are the margins huge, but a portion of the adjoining note shows on both the face and back. If you are a serious collector of error notes, this is one that you should make every effort to bring home from this sale.
