    Fr. 2126-L $50 1996 Federal Reserve Notes. Inverted Type II Overprint with "Bookends."
    Three consecutive notes are in this lot with the middle note having an inverted Type II overprint and it is escorted by the preceding and succeeding notes, which are known as the "bookends" in paper money parlance. All three notes have been individually graded between the two major grading services. The invert error note has earned a PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ grade and the "bookends" exited the PMG building with a grade of Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
