Fr. 2023-D $10 1977 Federal Reserve Notes. Ten Consecutive PCGS Graded Examples.
The third printing is printed upside down on this ten note consecutive run which is the longest that we have ever offered of this error type. All of these errors are PCGS graded, three grade Gem New 65PPQ, three grade Very Choice New 64PPQ, one grades Choice New 63PPQ, and three come in at Choice About New 58PPQ. Type 1 inverts have properly aligned faces and backs. Examples with misalignment are referred to as Type 2s. Fine tuning by the BEP in the printing process starting with Series 1981 produced the second type of third printing invert. (Total: 10 notes)
