    Description

Inverted Back Error Fr. 1921-D $1 1995 Federal Reserve Notes. Two Consecutive Examples. PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
A pair of inverted back Type II errors, this is just our third offering of consecutive examples. The resulting misalignment of the back is pronounced in this case. Type II inverts came into being with the 1981 Series as the BEP began to trim the selvage paper from the top of the sheet prior to the third printing. Earlier, this trimming step was done after all printings were finished. Type I inverts are from earlier series, with the face and back correctly centered. (Total: 2 notes)
