Fr. 1922-H $1 1995 Federal Reserve Notes. Two Consecutive Examples. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
An over inking error variety that is a late entrant into the collecting arena due to the fact that BEP printing techniques evolve over the years. Plates are flooded with excess ink to test the printing press at the beginning of each shift. These "test" sheets are earmarked for removal and destruction. However, a few of these massively overinked notes do escape into circulation. Both of these over inked notes are held in a single PMG multi-note holder. Therefore, the item count is one for this lot.
