    Description

Cutting Error Fr. 2075-G $20 1985 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
A major cutting error involving the G2 and H2 position notes. More of the G2 note remains, but it is still missing a large portion of its right half. The annotation is a penned upside down "$20" in the shared margin area on the back between the two note portions. This annotation was probably performed by a teller who was instructed to do so. Therefore, this error would not be counted as "$40" when balancing the teller drawer. There is a large diagonal fold across Jackson's portrait. It must be remembered that folds involved in the making of an error are not counted against an error note for grading purposes. The Friedberg number is listed as unknown on the third party label, but it can be determined as Fr. 2075-G from the Treasurer of the United States being Katherine Davalos Ortega and the note being from the G-G block.
