    Description

    HB-76 EP-105 Reed-BK10 10¢ Burnett's Cocoaine Kalliston Extremely Fine.
This is the most common denomination of the Burnett's Cocoaines, and listed by Reed as an R-4, indicating 31-40 known, which is likely correct. The case is a problem free high end XF. It's a nice medium brown color with a fair amount of silvering remaining behind the letters highlighting the merchant's name. The stamp is well centered and beautifully bright; and the mica is virtually flawless. Our sale of the Mayer Collection contained four of these. This is equal to the best of them with the three others considerably inferior.
