    Description

    HB-226 EP-57 3¢ N&G Taylor Very Fine.
Three Cent N & G Taylors are the second most common denomination for the merchant, but they are still seriously rare. Fred Reed's book has the population at five to ten pieces and we agree. The stamp is a dark red, the case has a few minor scuffs on the back, and the mica has some crazing and two small cracks at the bottom. This does not change the fact that this is one rare piece of Encased Postage.
