    Description

HB-172 EP-153 12c Lord & Taylor Choice Very Fine. Although the case exhibits some wear, the wear is even, and the case is problem free. The stamp has retained almost all of its color, and the mica has a single, small break on Washington's face. This is the first 12c Lord & Taylor that CAA has handled, and one of only a half-dozen pieces in existence. It's tightly closed and genuine beyond any shadow of a doubt. An extremely rare piece of encased, unpriced in any grade in the Hodder-Bowers reference. An opportunity for the advanced collector.
