    Description

    T9 $20 1861 Cr. 29B PCGS Choice About New 55.
This note turned out to be a work horse denomination for the Confederate Department of the Treasury, with just under 265,000 notes issued between July and October, 1861. This note appears to have seen only light duty as it remains in nearly pristine condition, printed on bright paper, with darkly printed and penned elements. It is also fully margined and printed on thick bond paper.
