    Description

    T7 $100 1861 PF-4 Cr. 11 PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58.
Printed by Hoyer & Ludwig in the early months of the war, just over 37,000 of these lithographed $100s were placed in circulation. They were not interest bearing notes and as a result usually ended up in circulation rather than collecting interest in a bank vault or strong box. PMG notes that this pretty, bright note has some evidence of previous mounting on the back.
