    T6 $50 1861 Cr. 6.
    A well-balanced and colorful Act of March 3, 1861 amended Act of August 3, 1861 $50 Richmond note. There were 5798 interest bearing notes printed and issued. A bold Southern Banknote Company design. Under the arced title at center, Industry holds a spool of thread and a shuttle as she rests her foot on two books. Agriculture, with her arm around Industry's shoulder, holds a caduceus. Justice, with scales and sword, is at the left. An oval portrait of Washington is at the right between two "50" counters.
    This note was acquired by by Mr. Hilton from Confederate dealer Kent Robertson for $2300 in 1999.
    With intricate green protectors and counter dies, PCGS grades this note Choice About New 58. It is fully framed on bright red fiber paper, with vibrant inking and signatures. The back has a military endorsement indicating that Jno.(?) L Smith, Major of Engineers, paid out this note on September 20, 1861.
