    Bold and Attractive T5

    T5 $100 1861 PF-1 Cr. 5.
One of the lovely offerings from this consignor which get better in terms of rarity and surprisingly even condition. Each of the notes was hand selected for condition over years working as a professional numismatist. A corner bend accounts for the grade on this note that escaped any real circulation. The paper is crispy and attractive, becoming of a PPQ descriptor. Any reason it did not earn the Premium Paper Quality tag is beyond us. PCGS Choice About New 58, with a penned inscription on back indicating it was issued in Memphis, Tennessee on September 13, 1861.
