T33 $5 1861 PF-7 Cr. 254Ba PMG About Uncirculated 55
EPQ.A State II PF-7 note as "Va" in the Keatinge & Ball imprint is almost entirely gone. State II notes are given a Rarity 10- rating. Fricke does not spell out precise numbers for rarity ratings with a "+" or "-"in his 2014 Field Edition, but a Rarity 10 note is 21 to 50 known. The note in this lot with serial number 26051-K would be near the top of Fricke's Condition Census as listed on page 269 of his third and latest edition. If you go back to the 2005 First Edition, you see that the note in this lot is not listed on page 378, but the very first note listed in his census is the closely serial numbered 26087-K with a grade given of "AU or Unc."
