    Another Pleasing 1861 Montgomery T3

    T3 $100 1861 PF-2 Cr. 3.
    A lovely example for the grade of PMG Very Fine 25 with contemporary annotations penned on the back. We are not able to read these annotations in their entirety. The first annotation in part is, "Issued June 15, 1861" with the name of "R. Williams Capt ACS." The second annotation reads, "New Orleans July 17/61 / Recd from ...... Collector / One Hundred 32 ...... Dollar Principal & Interest." / ...... Jas. Harrison A Co / ? B. Keene." This note has serial number 1168 and is from Plate 2 which was a half sheet with only the $100 and $50 denominations.
