    PMG Very Fine 25 T-3 1861 $100 Montgomery

    T3 $100 1861 PF-1 Cr. 3.
The Type 3 Montgomery $100 has long been considered one of the most beautiful Confederate notes. Featuring a train vignette in the center and Columbia at left, notes of this type have survived in such limited numbers that there are never enough to go around among the many collectors who desire one. This note displays an endorsement penned in New Orleans on June 3, 1861. A lovely example graded by PMG as Very Fine 25 that has kept its original paper surfaces, great color, and sharp signatures. This particular example last appeared at auction in 1987.
