    Description

    Rare 1861 $10 T27

    T27 $10 1861 PF-1 Cr. 221.
The T27 design is the rarest regular-issue Confederate note, with 113 examples recorded as of 2014. T27s were the sheet mates of the T35 Indian Princess notes. This led to T27 becoming the second scarcest Confederate type behind the T35. This variety with the Ab plate letter configuration is represented by approximately 79 examples (ca. 2014). PMG grades this note Very Fine 20 Net, citing two hammer cancels that have fortunately been repaired with stamp hinges rather than tape.
