    Scarce T27

    T27 $10 1861 PF-1 Cr. 221.
T27s are now regarded as the scarcest Confederate note. This is a new inductee for that select fraternity with serial number 2763-Ab. It is not listed in Fricke 2014 on page 246. It grades PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20, with CC, repairs, pieces replaced at the right end, and minor stains. The repairs and pieces replaced were carefully made. This T27 is also one of the nicer examples that we have examined at Heritage, as we have never offered a single T27 above the grade of VF 20.
