    Fully Framed and Colorful T15

    T15 $50 1861 PF-1 Cr. 79.
    This is one of the better T15s at the grade of PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30, with CC to appear in our auctions. We have auctioned eight examples in a higher grade over the years, but four of those notes have cut-out cancels in the two signature areas. The current offering of this beautiful design has a deep orange underprint, and it is fully framed all the way around. The Apparent grade is for a small stain at left. It is small, taking up about 12mm in area, and we will consider it trivial as a war was raging at the time.
