    Description

    T14 $50 1861. PF-7
A touch of handling and a couple of miniscule pinholes are noted on this otherwise exceptional issue. Around the denomination FIFTY DOLLARS is remnants of a box, part of the design that only showed on earliest plate printings. While not as pronounced as the piece illustrated in Fricke's tome, it is higher in grade that the piece listed in the condition census. PCGS New 62.
