DescriptionT39 $100 1862 PF-5 Cr. 291
T65 $100 1864 PF-3 Cr. 494.
The 1862 issue $100 bore 7.30% interest and has four Savannah black IP stamps on the back including two paying interest to January 1, 1865. One of the two was not a clean impression and perhaps the second was applied for the sake of clarity. The 1864 note is from the last series issued, Series II. The notes grade Very Good-Fine or better. These notes were housed in older holders that have sometimes been known to not provide a stable long term storage environment. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
