DescriptionQuartet of T23 Confederate $10 Facsimile Advertising Notes from Wisconsin
Racine, WI- Dr. Fairchild, Physician. The facsimile note was accepted for $1 in payment for services by new patients. The back of the note has the message printed in what appears to be Polish, Hungarian, and English. Fine, with an edge tear.
Milwaukee, WI- Ernest Leidel's The X Sample Room. This establishment sold liquors, wine, and cigars and offered a pool room. Uncirculated.
Milwaukee, WI- Amity Leather Products. This facsimile bore instructions on how to extract bank notes from a wallet. The trademark was registered on July 13, 1915 dating this note to sometime after that date. Uncirculated, with faint traces of adhesive on the face.
Rice Lake, WI- L.V. Williams, Chiropractor. This facsimile note was accepted for a free examination. Uncirculated.
The paper used for these notes resulted in some light toning around the margins. The 1912 copyright dates these notes to probably between that year and 1920 or so.
