Felix Senac was a Confederate States Navy paymaster. This $5000 check is number 59 from Senac's CSN account. The check was written when Senac was stationed at Savannah in 1862. It was made payable to T.N. Philpot, who was a harbor pilot in the service of the CSN. You can also find T39-41s that were issued by Senac and thus have his signature on them. Very Fine with an embossed "PAID" stamp and pinholes near the left edge.
