The Confederate Exchange Certificate is approximately three by five and a half inches. It is signed by T. N. McDonald, who was the Confederate Depositary Agent in the Trans-Mississippi Department at Waco. It is a partly printed form and was for the exchange of "Old Issue" notes (pre-1864 notes) for two-thirds "New Issue" (1864 Notes.) We have offered three of these in the past and though being nicer, the least amount one has brought is $299. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
