    Fourth Printing Booklet The Mysterious Chemicograph Backs For Confederate Currencyby Philip H. Chase (Reprint of Article in The Numismatist for March and April 1950);
    Two Different Information/Display Slips Copyright 1959;
    Fourth Printing SDC (Smithsonian/Dartmouth/College) Envelope.
    Few Fourth Printing Reverse 1 (without the faint SDC green rubber stamping) on the backs are found in Fourth Printing SDC Packet envelopes as discussed on page 71 of the Bertram reference. We cannot find any trace of a green "SDC" rubber stamping on the back of any of the six denominations in this lot. All of the notes grade Choice CU or better save for the AU $5 that has a light horizontal center bend. None of the other items in this lot are graded. The information/display slip that is entirely text exhibits handling. The booklet has an off-center vertical fold for mailing purposes. The envelope has pencilled on the back flap, "FEC" and "Gilberts Resource Bond" which is the watermarked paper for the notes and slips. (Total: 10 items)
