    Ball C240B Cr. X-122C Counterfeit $1,000 1863 Bond Three Examples Very Fine.
    A trio of Third Series counterfeit bonds with the spurious signature of "J.A. Taylor." Two examples have a once wet "Confederate Treasury Seal." The third bond has staining and an approximate 1.5 inch internal tear. The application of the embossed "Confederate Seal" produced a cut in the paper on one of the bonds and another has extensive edge chipping. (Total: 3 items)
