    Coca-Cola Ad Note T65 $100 1864.
    An U(nited) C(onfederate) V(eterans) souvenir for their June 2nd-5th, 1931 encampment at Montgomery, Alabama. The back of this advertising C-note has a Coca-Cola ad with a contour bottle in red ink. Coca-Cola inventor John Pemberton served in the Civil War as a lieutenant colonel with the Confederate Army's 12th Cavalry Regiment of the Georgia State Guard. He was wounded by a saber at the Battle of Columbus, Georgia on April 16, 1865. Fine-Very Fine with a few small edge tears.
