    Description

    1864 $50 Portrait of Jefferson Davis; Black with Reddish Overprint, T-66, CU. Close margins as expected on this issue, but the paper is crisp and clean with no signs of aging as is so often seen on this note. The bold blue on the back is striking in contrast to the bright white paper. There are no folds but light wrinkling precludes a Choice CU grade.
