    Description

    T63 50 Cents 1863 PF-4 Cr. 485.
One of the questions left unanswered by the Confederacy is why 50¢ notes were ever printed. They had little purchasing power by the time they entered circulation and could have pretty easily been supplanted by the state and local Fractional issues that were in circulation. PCGS grades this example Gem New 66PPQ.
