    Bright paper, bold ink colors, and great margins are observed on this high grade Confederate $20. The Confederacy ceased issuing this type in October 1863 after $200,000 of these notes were taken from Evans and Cogswell's offices and emitted with forged signatures along with false June and July 1863 date stamps.
