T57 $50 1863 PF-2 Cr. 407.
A non-collectible Fricke number that is a Rarity 15 note, 1 known, as listed on page 405 of the Fricke Field Edition 2014. Now it is in a select fraternity of only two known, but the only one available to collectors, as the other PF-2 is locked away within the holdings of the Museum of the Confederacy according to the 2005 Fricke reference. It is also plated on page 568 of that tome and our current offering at PCGS Very Fine 35 is more attractive than its lone sibling. Important characteristics of this Fricke number is that it was printed on plain paper and it also has an "April, 1863" issue date.
