DescriptionT52 $10 1862.
These were the first Confederate notes that were printed on pink paper. They were also the first Confederate $10 notes that included the new "X" within a medallion design that was developed by Keatinge & Ball. The backs were printed with blue ink. This example is the "Printed by B. Duncan," no series variety with plate letter "H." This note has rough areas along the right margin with a few tears and pieces missing. The left margin and corners have folds in them and remain intact. Very Good.
